THE BARN at Benson’s Pond is home to an historic 1940’s barn/screen house featuring stunning views of 80 acres of active cranberry bogs and native uplands in Middleboro, Massachusetts.
The original 1940’s screen house with weathered cedar shingles sits upon a hill overlooking the cranberry bogs providing an authentic and unique setting for your special day!
How many people can your barn hold for events?
We can hold up to 120 people in our main barn. We have tables and chairs that can be arranged for various purposes.
Do you have restrooms?
Yes we have a high end restroom trailer with running water. We do have an ADA restroom.

Do you have smaller meeting areas?
Yes. We have a smaller working area that can accomodate about 25 people.
Can the farm be incorporated into our event or corporate outing?
Yes! We can arrange a cranberry bog tour of the farm that includes information about cranberry farming, history of this native fruit, and industry information. We take groups bogside to see the growing vines and buds. In the fall we do have in the bog add ons for groups on certain dates and can arrange private outings and lunches. Advanced reservations strongly recommended.
Do you have a lunch service?
Yes. We partner with local cafes & caterers. Please inquire about the menu & price. Advanced reservations required. We have various catering levels and prices available.
Do you require a deposit?
We will ask for an initial payment to reserve our event space for corporate or wedding events. This is a non refundable payment.
Benson’s Pond is so much more than a wedding venue. I recently organised a corporate event there, and Kim, Erin, and the team were fantastic to work with. From providing a cranberry farm tour, to hosting a farm-to-table lunch and even running a special cranberry cocktail masterclass, we threw everything at them and they handled it with skill and grace.
