Field Trips are part of our Cranberry Farm Tours at Benson’s Pond. We offer agricultural education field trips to a working cranberry bog for school age children including public and private schools, homeschools, camps, and scouts. Our immersive experience brings groups bog side as children learn about cranberry varieties, growing seasons, regenerative farming, and what it’s like to be a cranberry farmer!

The Barn on Benson Pond is a beautiful place. Our tour guide was very pleasant and friendly to our group. The tour itself was hands-on and informative. It was cool to try the “dry-picking” ourselves and to look at the old-school machines up close. It was a perfect day and my 8-year-old daughter is already asking if we can go again to experience “wet-picking”.
Instructions for the tour were well-communicated and executed seamlessly. We enjoyed an on-time and easy trip from the commuter rail stop to the farm in a comfortable shuttle van.
